Production runs 2–3 weeks from approved design to delivery. Heirloom redesigns and intricate settings may run slightly longer. We'll give you a firm timeline at the end of your consult.

Can you work with us remotely?

Yes — about 60% of our clients are outside NYC. Consultations happen over video, sketches and CADs are reviewed by share link, and finished rings ship fully insured worldwide.

What happens at the consultation?

A 30–60 minute conversation about who the ring is for, what you love (and what you don't), budget, and timeline. We sketch live, talk stones, and you walk away with a clear plan and a quote — no commitment.

How much does a custom engagement ring cost?

Our custom rings start at $3,400. The single biggest factor is the center stone — a 1ct lab-grown solitaire in a classic setting lands around $4,000, while a 2ct natural in platinum with side stones is closer to $18,000. We design around your budget, not the other way around.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — through Affirm. Two paths: pay the flat $200 deposit normally and finance the remaining balance with Affirm, OR skip the deposit and finance the full ring price up front with Affirm. Affirm cannot be used for the deposit itself. See our Financing page for details.

Is a deposit required?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a flat $200 deposit gets your project started and goes directly toward the cost of your ring. The deposit is refundable up to $100 if you change your mind before production. Once you approve the final CAD design, the remaining balance is due and we begin crafting.

Do you offer free shipping?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Free fully insured FedEx overnight shipping is included on every finished ring within the contiguous US. Hawaii and Alaska are subject to a small carrier surcharge. We also ship internationally via DHL, fully insured and signature required.

Lab-grown or natural diamonds?

Both are real diamonds — chemically identical. Natural carries provenance and long-term value; lab is 30–60% less for the same look. We have no preference and will give you an honest comparison side-by-side.

Are your stones ethically sourced?

Accepted Answer

Every natural diamond is Kimberley-Process certified with full chain-of-custody. Our lab-grown stones come from US labs powered by renewable energy. Recycled metals are standard on every piece.

Can I bring my own stone?

Absolutely — we set client stones and family stones regularly. We'll evaluate it for free at your consultation and walk you through any considerations.

Question 11

What does lifetime care include?

Accepted Answer

Free professional cleaning, full ring inspection, and warranty service against manufacturing defects (loose stones from faulty setting in year one, broken prongs, clasp failures, metal flaws) for as long as you own the ring. Free resizing within the first 12 months — or a complimentary remake if the design can't be resized. We do not offer free lifetime polishing — repeated polishing thins the band over time, so we quote refinishing transparently at-cost instead. See the Care page for the full coverage list.

What if I lose it?

We don't sell insurance, but every ring ships with a Certificate of Authenticity / Jewelry Description Document that documents the metal, diamond, and specs. If your insurer (Jewelers Mutual, Lavalier, or your homeowner's policy) requires a formal appraisal, we'll arrange a third-party appraiser at your request — an additional fee may apply. We can also re-make a lost ring from your original CAD file.

How should I clean my ring at home?
